Homemade chicken strips

When I was younger, me and my sister were always at my grandmothers place. She loves to bake and cook things so we would always help her do those things when we were there. This time when we were there we made chicken strips they were mine and my sisters favorite thing to eat and this time we got to make them with her. Homemade ones are always better than the frozen ones. Chicken strips are quite easy to make you only need chicken tenders, bread crumbs, an egg, garlic powder, lemon pepper, cayenne, salt and pepper. Some people might like things a little more spicy so some people add some spices into their chicken strips like at some restaurants they put the chicken when it was breaded into buffalo sauce. I don’t like things that are really spicy so these were pretty good for me. Once the chicken strips were done and we took them out of the oven the bread crumbs looked golden brown and it smelt really good. When you picked one up to eat the bread crumbs felt really crumbly but they didn’t all fall off when you went to pick one up. When you took a bite into it it tasted really good you could feel the bread crumbs and tell they were crispy and the chicken was cooked perfectly because it wasn’t undercooked or overcooked. This was a great experience for me because I had never made them by hand before and to do it with my grandmother it was a lot of fun. I always love baking and cooking with my grandmother we usually make pretty good things.
